Liz Culpepper

Liz Culpepper writes lyrical and narrative nonfiction about her experiences in (and adjacent to) the American military community. On the page, Liz links her personal life to broader conversations about militarism, marriage, and the shifting meaning of home. She examines the emotional and moral implications of being a military spouse while reaching toward hope. Liz holds an MA in English from Kansas State University and an MFA in Creative Writing from the Rainier Writing Workshop at Pacific Lutheran University. Her professional experience includes international non-profit communications, online publishing, and teaching English language learners.
